PDUs - Professional Development Units

PDUs are Professional Development Units needed for renewal of the PMP certification. The PMP certification is renewed every three years upon completion of 60 PDUs in that period. 

File PDUs in the PMI Continuing Certification Requirements System (CCRS)

The Chapter maintains attendance records in case of an audit.

You also earn PDUs for attending Breakfast Roundtable meetings under Self Directed learning.  See Breakfast Roundtable page for more information.

PDU filing instructions:

The first four digits of the event code are the provider number. The last six digits of the event code are the activity number.

  1. Log into the PMI's Continuing Certifications Requirements System (CCRS) https://www.pmi.org/CCRS/Default.aspx
  2. Select "Report PDUs"
  3. Under "Select Category" find "Cat 3: Registered Educational Provider Program / PMI Component Event", then click "Next"
  4. Under "Activity Type" select "Find an Activity (Course or Event)", then click "Next"
  5. Enter four provider digits in the "Provider Number" field
  6. Enter six activity digits in the "Activity Number" field
  7. Leave other fields blank and click "Search"
  8. Click on the activity number underneath the "Activity #" header
  9. Fill out all fields and click "Next"
