PMO LIG

The chapter board has recently approved a charter to start a Project Management Office Local Interest Group. The PMO LIG is designed to work in cooperation with the SFBA Chapter to provide additional value to members with a specific focus on Project Management Office activities. The LIG will provide a forum to share common interests and challenges, share experiences related to the setup and operation of a PMO, discuss trends associated with PMO, provide continuing project management education and learn from other PMO professionals.

Currently the PMO LIG is planning on meeting on a quarterly basis and focusing on topics that will include:

  • Starting a PMO
  • Aligning & Prioritizing Project Objectives
  • State of the PMO
  • PMO Metrics.

Meetings will take various formats to maximize learning and knowledge sharing around the topic of PMO, while also providing PDU opportunities.
